A few things you may be wondering.
Do I need my own cloud storage?
No. You can connect the Google Drive or Dropbox account you already use, and StudioFolio streams the files you choose so your originals stay in the account you control. If you'd rather not manage storage yourself, StudioFolio Cloud is an optional paid add-on where StudioFolio hosts the files for you.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Starter is free forever and includes every core feature, one storage connection, and three active projects — enough to run real client work.
What's included on Starter?
Galleries, proofing, bookings, contracts, invoices, client management, and photography planning are all included. Starter's limits are one storage connection, three active projects, 20 portfolio photos on your booking page, and three gallery cover designs and three grid layouts. Unlimited removes those limits.
What counts as an active project?
Any project you have not archived counts as active. When a job is complete, archive it to free a Starter project slot while keeping its client and business records.
Can clients use galleries without an account?
Yes. Clients open a private link to browse, favourite, comment, and make selections with no sign-up. You choose whether downloads are allowed, and you can protect a gallery with a PIN or make it invite-only, which asks clients to confirm their email with a one-time code.
What happens to my photos if I cancel?
If your galleries use your own Google Drive or Dropbox, nothing: the photos were always in your storage. StudioFolio only manages the gallery experience, metadata, and business records.
